pre work: at first was the pre work create the hard sketch of the map we are planning to do digitally:
STAGE 1: I started by tracing the trail of my map with the pen tool. I struggled at first since I couldn't figure out how to use the pen tool and how to produce the wavy lines. In terms of generating curved edges on the corners, the technique was difficult for me. Even with such precision, I noticed that many of the lines were not straight because I largely used the pen tool

In this part I have used the brush tool instead of line tool so you can clearly see how the roads are uneven.

here I have used the pen tool and have ensured that all shapes are fully covered and no gap is left.
STAGE 2- I picked 2-d icons for the map's icons to give it a more welcoming appearance. I started with some simple and straightforward icons for the map but later I improved my icons I tried to gave a soothing and pleasent vibe as well. So I built a tree icon to represent the garden/playing area in my map and gave the tree a colourful colour palette. This emblem allowed me to make multiple attempts to reach my goal

.
Stage 3 This scheme was devised with the intention of evoking warmth and friendliness from the map The colour palette was easy for me to choose because the tones of green were obtained from the pictures of my region.

Stage 4 I wouldn't say my final output was what I had in mind from the start, but it is the result of the iterative process that I have attempted to document. To sum up, the various contrasted hues truly complement the concept of this map; but I'm happy with the outcome .

another map where I tried using the red and orange scheme of but still it didn't come up to my expectations.
