ACTIVITY 1: Altering perception

After the long orientation week we finally started with the main college. First class of the week was Think lab. I was so excited for college finally the wait was over. Our first assignment of think lab was ALTERING PERCEPTION. In the beginning of the class we were introduced to the leaders. I was really excited to meet them.Initially we were divided into groups, my no was group 4. The assignment was related to shapes, our professors explained us how shapes play an important roll in our lives and how we and different objects are associated with shapes in our daily lives.

We had to associate our respective shapes to the objects they resemble to in our surroundings. In the warm up task my group was given a diamond shape the warm up task was comparatively easier than the main task we Quickly associated the objects in our surroundings. All my group members discussed how we could associate the objects. I was probably meeting all my group members for the first time but it seemed like I already knew them from years, we were so coordinated that we could finish the task very easily. We all had different views and opinions but we respected all of them, and warm up task came out to be success.

Then came the main task we got little complicated shapes this time. Our group got the letter N now we had to associate 10-15 objects around us which relate with the letter and the second task was to add or subtract different shapes in the letter. we all divided our task and and completed the task.

this is one of the example: cubic painting

my group no was 4, I was so happy after seeing my group members. We all worked together and helped each other in the assignment. I didn't face any problem working with my peers we shared ideas with each other and it was well coordinated.

LEARNING MANTRA OF THE DAY:

"TALENT WINS GAMES,

BUT TEAMWORK AND INTELLIGENCE WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS"

I personally feel that all my fellow classmates are talented but at last during group activities all that matters is how we all work as a team and how we respect the peers ideas.
